With the spotlight of public opinion on the Australian pork industry like never before and a media bursting at the 'social seams', now is the time for all scientists and researchers in the pork industry to be media aware and, for those most likely to be engaged with journalists, media ready. Hence, a visit to the Science Media Savvy website, developed by the Australian Science Media Centre, with support from CSIRO, might help you work with the media and better inform public debate on the major issues of the day
